CityFibre, the UK’s third national digital infrastructure platform, is expanding its Dundee base by putting down roots in the city’s Affinity House

The company has existing networks across the country, providing wholesale connectivity to multiple business and consumer service providers, local authorities and mobile operators. CityFibre has network rollouts underway with plans to pass up to 8 million homes and businesses with open-access full fibre infrastructure. A growing number of Gigabit City projects, including in Dundee, have been announced for full-city rollouts.

With Dundee itself set to become a Gigabit City, CityFibre needed to put roots down in a satellite office, which would act as a hub for their growing numbers. Affinity House, in Dundee’s Harrison Road, offers fully furnished, Covid-safe office space, allowing CityFibre to settle in quickly and expand as needed.

Affinity House Managing Director Paul McGillvery commented “The sizeable space has allowed us to let affordable quality offices to a range of tenants. Since the beginning of the Coronavirus crisis, many business owners have been forced to consider their options, and Affinity House offers them an affordable workspace, and the chance to collaborate and network with other Dundee-based firms. We’ve been pleased with how popular the space has been, and have a limited amount of offices still to let.”
